Short interest data is reported on mid-month and end-of-month settlement dates. It is then released on a dissemination date after 4 p.m. ET. Nasdaq provides information of company’s short interest and the average days it takes to cover them. If days to cover is between 0 and 1, it is rounded up to 1 on Nasdaq.com
